HOW TO FIND LED LCD HDTV GREAT BEST STUFF

I have this tv 2 months ago and here is a list of pros and cons that I can find.
Advantages:
The picture is very clear in HD
Image can be seen nearly 180 degrees Viewing Angle
Total thickness of the TV is amazing, less than 2 "
Internet Applications

Disadvantages:
TV remote control no longer works, had problems after 3 or 4 days. The problem was that sometimes the first keys on the top of the remote is not working, and then every so often they would. After 2 months, the remote control is completely useless. You can not use Internet-based applications, the TV should be turned off manually from the coast, and sometimes it does not. If I look at Netflix button on the side of the TV does not work. So the only way to switch off is to unplug it. I called Vizio customer service and spoke with a technician and I spent all the techniques of problem solving unique teaching. But nothing worked so they sent a new remote control.

Other problems I have with this product is that web applications could be improved. Showtime The application is very limited, since it is another. I really wish you could surf the net with an application like google.
The TV sound is not very impressive at all.

In all honesty, after reading about 10 other like-minded, I'd probably look beyond the product and look for something better, and perhaps best reviews.

OK, so this review is based on the property for a week. TV was very easy to install and connect to our wireless network G (there is no benefit of having a wireless network N), is all about the speed of your Internet connection and nothing to do with the speed of the network from Internet speed will be the bottleneck, DSL will probably slow Internet application VUDU said I should download movies in 1080p. Bluetooth remote control supplied with the TV controls our cable box (Comcast - Motorola), the remote is amazing! Net movie looks amazing! Internet Other features are very good. I hope that the agreement Hulu Vizio has done will be playable with this TV. The picture is awesome! BUT there is better technology out there and local dimming should give a more accurate picture, but is more expensive. While watching the Home Network (house hunters) I noticed bleeding blue in the upper left, I do not know if it was filmed that way or because of the TV, because I did not notice this blue bleeding any other time . Blacks look great, but I have 20 TV is next to me to highlight another TV has better blacks, this TV has a contrast ratio of 1:1,000,000 and are very satisfied with the image. I have not played much with the picture options, so that the settings that come with the TV are pretty awesome. I am also happy with the sound, so there is low ... its TV speakers.

OK, the TV looks amazing in standard definition (I was very surprised because usually standard definition does not look good with these new 1080P TV) and in high definition. I just saw a preview 1080p via the internet with VUDU (did not want to spend $ $ $ to watch more) and the TV looked amazing. I do not have a blu ray player because you do not want to spend $ $ $ and I just signed up for Netflix, so I did not even watch a DVD to experiment. I have not tried the air HDTV, I live in New Hampshire, where we have only 4 channels and two of them SUCK ... lol.

OK, now for the problems. While playing with the remote, so I'm sure the TV to freeze within the first 5 hours of operation. I had to call Vizio (was upgraded to a level three tec), they told me how to reset the firmware by pressing the power button on the TV for 30 seconds, but first unplug all cables (this took about 45 minutes). Since then, the TV worked without any problems. I thought there would be a function that would update the firmware ... you know ... because it is able to connect to the Internet, but I could not find:. (... I do not know if this is good or bad TV has three USB ports that do not work, it is supposed to work later on when Vizio fixes the firmware (even though I do not understand how you can update) ... so I read online ... I'm not worried, but it would be a nice option to be able to connect a USB drive and watch an avi file ... personally, I would much rather have Hulu going and cancel my cable service (this is one of my dreams ... lol)

OK ...
Now I have this TV for 4 months ... freezing has never stopped, even after the firmware update (which is controlled by Vizio). Every other day when I turn on the TV hangs ... especially in HD channels, but it also happened when I connected my laptop and sometimes in SD channels I can say that it is freeze. Block especially when I turn on the TV, when it happens, I the power button for 30 seconds ... but usually disables Vizio flashes so I have to hold for thirty seconds, then turns finally as normal, but from time to time, I have to do this twices more ... could be a matter of five minutes.

I called Vizio to fix the problem, I have an appointment on Tuesday, two people come to me, they tell me to change the motherboard and power supply. I hope this solves the problem.

My sister has the 42 "TRUE LED and has problems with his remote control. I have another 32" Vizio ... bought a refurbished 1080P model three years ago for $ 350 and does not give me a single problem.

I still love the picture quality and I would always buy a new Vizio TV ... until now ... lol. I have a masochist.

OK ... It 's the following third party. My phone conversation with Vizo, they decided to change the motherboard and food. This was done in two or three weeks. Now the TV is PERFECT. Has not frozen once, it is much more appealing when I turn. What bothers me most is that I thought I loved this TV, although it would freeze so often and I ignored the problem for so long ... as I said it would freeze every day or every other day and sometimes twice a day.

Looking for a room that had TV 1080p, network interface and Yahoo! Widgets (or similar functions). Most other TV manufacturers offer this combination of features in the models of 40 inches or more - I wanted a smaller size for a single room, television.

First, the good stuff ... Very beautiful the image remains clear and visible in wide angle - this is its main feature. In addition, Yahoo! Widgets built especially to be able to watch movies or listen to music made to services such as Netflix and Pandora without the cabinet. In addition, one of the leading Widgets in Internet TV Guide, which is useful if your cable company is not able to transmit a TV Guide (or similar function) on your cable. I also found the remote control is actually pretty good, in the sense that the buttons are different shapes and sizes that you can actually find the right buttons to push to the touch without looking.

Secondly, the thing ... OK I join a certain extent, some of the other users who are critical of the sound - it's not so bad, but I had other LCD TVs of the same size have done better. I must say, however, that the sound is clear, so you will not be able to understand what someone is saying when they speak in a low voice, and the speakers output a full enough that you do not ask where a tool disappeared listening to a piece of music. I met other small TVs (both CRT and old types of current day LCD type) that have audio much, much worse than that - some were so bad that the envelope of the TV is vibrating when some instruments were played in a piece of music - this TV has certainly not something like this.

Thirdly, the problem ... Hangs in fact! This must be the weirdest thing I've ever lived or ever said on television, but this thing actually crashes since it completely ignores the remote control buttons and built-in control, and can not be controlled by unplugging! I'm guessing, but I think this is a simple case of overheating, because accidents happen after it has been for a number of hours that the back feels terribly hot. The heat is a little 'surprising, since it is an edge-lit LED TV is not one that uses CCFL backlight. Also, do not seem to matter if you use one of Widgets or not - the crash occurs even when you simply feed the video from a decoder or other source. Thus, the noise does not seem to be precipitated by any application running particular Widget.

Fourthly, some missing information ... It is not clear on the website Vizio or even if you download a PDF version of the manual, but this TV has a type of external power brick. This article took me by surprise that the majority of LCD TV of this size (in my experience) that the power built in. It's not a big deal, unless you are going to attach it to the wall, in this case, it will be need to decide what to do with the power brick.

All-in-all, I would be perfectly happy with this TV if I do not have much need to unplug it to bring crash. This is a strange behavior crash is really makes me consider returning it.

Good TV but very uncomfortable "smart" functions and interface

The LS5700 is a good TV LG. If I could, I would give it 2-1/2 stars. The LS5700 POS should be "intelligent" features that allow you to connect to the Internet, get content from Netflix, Hulu Plus, etc., and share content from other network devices. It has a nice crisp high-definition picture after adjusting the color settings, and in some ways its as expected. But if this is all you want in a TV are cheaper alternatives. Unfortunately, the interface for the use of "Smart TV" features is very uncomfortable. And even though the manual does a good job of showing how to connect the TV, there is almost nothing on how to use the "smart". The built-in menu is supposed to. The on-screen menus and on-line support LG are minimal at best and just plain wrong in one case (see below).

On the plus side, the TV easily connected to your home network using an Ethernet cable or WiFi. It features "intelligent" do the job, if you can stand the interface, however, this is not the TV is integrated TV-web I expected. It 'a little' time in the future.

The TV includes a remote control that is used to access the "smart" and also set the TV, connect to the Wi-Fi network, etc. It has a kind of pointer to the air that appears on the display. When you use features that require text input, there is a QWERTY keyboard on the screen that you click with the pointer on the remote control. Using the on-screen keyboard is just awful. It 's very slow and the pointer of the remote control is slow and jerky. If you go to the setup menu on your TV, you can change the settings of the pointer to "fast", which helps a bit ', but the onscreen keyboard is hopeless.

It is not mentioned in the manual, but you can connect a wireless keyboard to a USB port. That allows you to enter text more easily than is possible with the on-screen keyboard. But the wireless mouse that goes with my new wireless keyboard does not work. Support LG says that the game can only take input from the user, although there are three USB ports. (They responded very quickly - within a few hours - to their credit.) So, you must use the remote control for the score. This TV really needs is a pointer decent distance and a small tear on the keyboard or a keyboard on the back. Samsung, Sony and Viszio (among others) to do so, I would be much happier with the game if LG does the same thing.

There is an iPhone application that LG could (in theory) make the best interface. Is supposed to allow you to control your TV from an iPhone. The application does not have a keyboard, according to the comments on iTunes, so it's not perfect. Worse, even if the site LG expressly provides that the LS5700 series is compatible with the application, the application does not work with this model. This has been confirmed by LG tech support, and the Info tab of the app has a list of supported models LW5700 series includes, but is not the LS5700 series.

To access music, photos or video from your home network using the DLNA capability, you need to download an application from the LG website to your computer. TV setup menu does not mention that you need a software media sharing, but you have to dig deep into the menu on the screen to find the answer.

Perhaps LG will update the iPhone app, or firmware together, or provide a compatible remote control with a keyboard and a pointer better. But until then, avoid this model if you want easy to use "Smart TV" features. The interface of this game is not ready for prime time.

So I just got this TV today and I must say that I like this model. Information for this model I am reviewing is the non-3D model.
is a thin LED TV that is very simple to implement. After connecting all the cables, it will start the installation, once you put the batteries in the remote control magic and power off. Oh, and the buttons on the TV are touch-sensitive!
Once the TV is turned on you will be prompted to enter via the supplied remote control is all about. Just follow the installation until the end and prosper you're done!
this model tv wifi ready, so once you have completed the initial configuration and you have entered the wifi to update the system without wires, simply press the "My applications" button and go to settings and I think the last icon at the bottom the list, and I must say that the software update or something, but it is easy to find. update took about 5-8 minutes I think? do not quote me on this, but at least 5 minutes, and for me at least. Once updated, you can now use the pre-installed applications on the tv. I have tested this on Facebook, and very naked. after you have activated your Facebook account from a computer and added the activation code, you can post comments, such as messages, users to watch videos and view your RSS feeds. that's all there is to say, if you can not be on the computer right now, but it is in no way a replacement for your computer or smartphone application facebook. also Netflix, and Skype if you bought a lg webcam connected to your TV. it also comes with the cinema of today. All these applications are quite easy to activate.
Personally, I do not see myself with applications that much, but it was nice that they are there. now I'm still learning how to use this new series, I went to Image Wizard 2, where I chose how the image will look like, for example, have experience as an image or a warmer sound in a cooler tone, you can adjust the brightness, sharpness, contrast, etc., that you can save the settings you've just created a single entry or multiple entries that may occur or not. I thought it was a pretty cool feature.
I'm not a fan of TV 120 Hz, and this is one of those television. for me it's like watching someone on TV, if I look like live, you know? so far I have not found the setting to disable 120 Hz and 60 Hz, I have to tinker a bit 'more with.
the remote is a bit 'dodgy to me. I mean it works. It 'sa bit like the Nintendo Wii remote keeps this remote control to adjust your magic. I like that it gives a good shock to the TV and automatically adjusts the center of the screen. but once out of the box the TV must be adjusted again. But there's an app for smartphones LG where you download ur phone and you can actually use your touchscreen smartphone remote to move the cursor magic, I thought it was a brilliant idea, and I like a lil more using the remote control, you will also control volume and channels on ur smart phone!

lil another feature is that you can easily program the remote to do magic with your decoder. I have Time Warner, then after selecting the model of the decoder and the company (Time Warner), are able to use the magic mouse when watching cable TV. guide buttons / menu items that are on the remote control pop ur cable on the TV screen, so if you have a DVR, you do not need the remote control cable after installation, all ii buttons are on the top or bottom of the screen ! that was pretty cool.
Overall, I'm very happy with this new TV. its thin, smooth, great potential for energy savings (Energy Star certified sound) and for what I paid (699.99) I got a lot for my money.

Customer Reviews more useful - Only need smell, vision, now

I bought this LG 55LV3700 TV in the hopes that I would be more than happy with the passage of a Sony TV, and besides having a 60HZ in, I must say I found myself happy.
Most of the commentators said that he did not notice the 60HZ compared to a 120 Hz or more, but I did ..... I thought. We noticed watching sports, but as soon as I changed some settings ... is much improved.
Silly me.

Apart from this problem ... This TV rocks!
The picture is phenomenal. Clear as a bell. And the sound is more like a stereo system that I've had on any TV after connecting to a surround sound system. Now, with this LG on my surround system, I can barely play on a 10 #, or too difficult.

I have not noticed any blasting commercials, but I had to change "intelligent" sensors settings, because as soon as night fell on the house and the image becomes too dark for me to enjoy. He came to me set on "energy saving", but I still put the "low" and now it's nice.

Find all the features "intelligent" is too easy. No problem with it, but I have not received this special remote as I thought I had while watching the "specifications" of advertising for this TV. Only got the regular remote control.

I still find the thing driven calculation on this TV. I can not find it again. But after adjusting the Intelligent Sensor, really does not seem much need for adjustment. I want to try anyway.
As soon as I find it, I'll let you know. It may be on the disk supplied with the TV, but of course, as a man ... My friend did not even try to read it again. I guess I'll do it when he's not there ... ha ha. You know guys ... must be less stubborn about these things. I can not believe you complain when it does not even try to play the disc! (Sorry)
Well ... Always connect to everything. No surprise there.

Apart from that ... This TV is awesome. I did not notice a big difference in a small screen format, up to a 55 "by 60". And if you think that part is bad on this TV, just because they Lucite edge like many other new series are .... think again. Not even notice any image on it. And 'black for the love of God Who sees what? And the game itself is so thin that it almost disappears when you walk by it. If I had mounted on my wall ... disappear!

I like the fact that it is a rotating support. We are not all placed directly in front of the TV, and it helps.

I compared this with other brands, and although I was a bit 'hanging about getting a Samsung ... for the price, this TV is better. Samsung becomes expensive as Sony now, and I do not think they are worth nothing. I tried to get a Sony the last time you had a TV, and I had too many problems with it. I was very glad I had a service contract on it! At least when you finally can not solve the same problem is more than 3 years, have given and sent me a replacement check so you can buy this LG.

The first movie I saw of it, made me feel like I was in a theater and I was shocked by how big it was. Picture and sound are both very impressive! Yes ... I use a surround sound system, but it has never worked well before this.

The purchase through Amazon and its supplier went well with no problems .. The LG Smart TV works well with a big picture, which leads me to believe that somes with a smart wand control and it is on it is not yet availble. They are displayed in TV applications that are not yet available (Hulu-Plus). much of the software to use a Smart TV is not working or ready yet. I think we should not advertise or sell a product if it is not readey use, I think you have to wait. I gave a good rating based on Amazon's service, the purchase through a local supplier would have been about $ 3 hunderd more, taxes, shipping and extended warranty more ...

This TV has been one of the best electronic purchases I've ever made. The picture is excellent, easy to use setup, multiple inputs (and it seems to detect the input voltage is more recent, when you turn on the TV automatically switches to DVD / Games / what just turned on)
I never thought that I would use the SmartTV, but spend more itme elsewhere. The ability to stream Netflix, Amazon, YouTube, Internet radio, etc. directly to the TV is a striking feature and is used daily.
My only complaint is that the volume is a bit 'low, but I plan to remedy with additional components.

See my photos uploaded. I chose this TV depending on the size and the good picture I saw on this model at Sears. Purchased from Amazon after price shopping. UPS delivered a shipping box a little 'scuffed. The shipping box said it had AUSYLJR panel. I compared the LG web site contrast ratio to the two different contrast ratio and Amazon said no deal. Installing the base with eight screws was easy. After my DW helped me lift the TV on top of my dresser I was ready for the smoke test. But first, I noticed a small factory nick on the frame under the protective tape. A star deduction for this task. At the beginning of the game came in a simple configuration mode, but I was stopped cold when it first wanted to scan channels live. I connected the rabbit ears and let it automatically fed do it's thing. Once done, I went to an HDMI input on my receiver and it looked good. It 'was very easy to access Wi-Fi. All I had to do was enter my Linky password. Then I clicked on Netflix and got an authorization message. Meanwhile the TV started updating its software which took maybe 10 minutes. After rebooting, I discovered that my Linky password so I entered erased again. Now, for the trial of Netflix.

I selected the documentary Restrepo, hooked in my headphones and began the Netflix test. Immediately, I was blown away by the video and audio quality I was watching. Believe me. It 'was amazing! !

Print Second day:

The few free LG apps are a joke.
The Facebook app is not very good compared to a PC website Facebook.
The broadcast image seemed a lot darker than I liked so I turned off the power saving mode which solved the problem.
I noticed that when my cable DVR, in pause mode, went to a black screen with a small moving screen saver was a less black area around the moving image.
Amazon just dropped the price on this model. Amazon then agreed to match their new lower price - one time.

Print first week:

The LED lighting slightly leaks through the ventilation holes on the back of the group.
This LG TV always displays an exceptional, but I'm not a big fan of LED TVs. I prefer my older Samy 650 LCD model only in my TV room.
This TV was assembled in March 2011 and sold to me by Amazon in April 2011.
Amazon seems to change the price up and down on this TV nearly everyday.
The LG shipping box goes Trashman today because I'm keeping my baby.
